My older cat had a blood clot in her aorta last night and was obviously in great distress and extreme pain. I made the choice to have her put down as to end her pain and suffering being an older cat. I called the 24 hour clinic and I decided to bring her in after they gave me other possible options with other facilities which was nice. **edit: As you can see, they continue to gaslight in their response. I NEVER requested medical care for the animal. I asked if they had resources for rehabilitators in the area and was given the cryptic answer of “we would need to evaluate it.” I was never told they ONLY offer euthanasia as an option until I pressed for an answer after they already took the bird to the back. I also learned that these locations get money from the state when they offer humane euthanasia for injured wildlife so they are incentivized to lie abou... read more
