I'm shocked by the poor reviews. I like her! Although I've only seen her a few times, to me she is a very good clinician. She asks the right questions, and her progression of care is textbook. It's almost a little too textbook, but that's ok! Dr. Sophias is young and with experience will develop into an experienced physician. I think she could benefit by shadowing a old country doctor, you know the kind that tells you to take 2 aspirin or put aloe on it. Like I said, she is thorough and cautious, and that's ok.
Horrible experience! The office girls thought they put me on hold but I could hear the entire conversation. They were laughing and making fun of my name. One of the girls said this is her married name. I would have never taken his last name. First off, it’s my adopted name since I’ve been 2 years old. My mom wanted the bad memory gone so we changed my last name to my adopted dad’s. Next experience. I have asthma. I regret to say that my experience with Dr Sophia’s Sophia was far from satisfactory. She makes a patient feel very uncomfortable and awkward. I understand that doctors have busy schedules, but I expected a higher level of care and communication which unfortunately was lacking all around. With her attitude and Attitude and snotty attitude , I wouldn’t refer my worst enemy to her. POINT BLANK PERIOD. Being a former patient of Ian Brodrick and now choosing her as a primary physician was a poor choice.
I reluctantly gave her even a one star incompetent unprofessional physician always running behind with her patients! I was 5 minutes late for my appointment office staff very rude told me I needed to reschedule ! After missing half a day's pay and the 45-minute drive to her office ! This is not the first incident with Dr Sophia's her knowing that I needed refills on my meds high blood pressure and cholesterol turn me away with no medication knowing I had four strokes carotid artery surgery and a new replacement hip!
