Worst experience ever. Not only was my studio apartment having a really heavy mold smell, but they attempted to scam me of many unwarranted fees. They claimed that my rent was two months overdue but my account was on autopay and it was clearly their fault. They threatened me with their legal department and no one offered to reach out or help me with my situation. Horrible, horrible, scam company. Never even associate with them. Rather live on the streets of NYC.
Consider this your warning if you’re thinking about renting from Olshan Properties. Poorly managed, overpriced apartments charging upwards of $4,000/month, and little regard for residents. Management seems more concerned with collecting rent than addressing legitimate concerns. As a resident of 52 Clark Street in Brooklyn Heights, I strongly recommend staying away from Olshan Properties at all costs. There are much better apartment options in New York. Fire Hazard When I moved into 52 Clark, cardboard had been left inside the oven. It was tucked so far into the back that I nearly didn’t notice it before using the oven for the first time. Mia Haberfeld should lose her job. Her lack of communication is stunning and her disregard for her residents is infuriating. Olshan Properties owes me $ and has not paid. Do not rent from this LL.
Stay away from OLSHAN PROPERTIES at all costs! Olshan Properties is run by greedy slumlords. This "family run company" is a human spectacle of incompetency - spanning all levels of the organization. They only enforce tenant rules when it is convenient for them (aka never) and rarely answer emails/phone calls.
