Dr. Olsen performed my gastric bypass April 1, 2011. I initially lost 160 pounds in 10 months. I was very compliant to all of his instructions, and I’ve enjoyed all these years thanks in a large part to him. I have kept all the weight off and have even lost a little more. I had bypass on April 17th, 2017. I'm not going to lie, I have had some complications. But my surgeon, Dr Olsen, has done everything and more that he can to help me get well. He truly cares about my health and wants to see me succeed. I would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to have WLS. All the ladies in the office are very sweet too. I love Kendra!! Thank you everyone for helping me start my new life! I lost 230 lbs in 11 months!
I did not enjoy being compared to either range fed or feed lot beef-cattle or being told my hunger is psychological and that I'm an addict. Considering second opinion.
I've had surgery from Dr Olsen on 3 different occasions for various reasons over the last 4 years. In my opinion, this man is wonderful. He's no nonsense, so don't expect to be babied. He tells it like it is. He's always taken the time to listen to me and he explains things where I can understand them. And this was with every surgery, not just the bariatric. If you're looking for a surgeon that's very knowledgeable, very experienced, and very kind you will love Dr. Olsen. Great staff.
He was very short, rude and made me feel like a loser and I honestly feel like it was because I had Medicare for my insurance and he said they don't pre approve and if they didn't approve after the procedure then he was out because he was pretty sure I couldn't afford it !!!
Had the upmost regard for Dr Olsen and his knowledge of his job .always felt confident in my doctor and knew he had my best interest health in mind with each decision he made . Thank you Dr olen
