I was in the area for a wedding, staying at the Quincy Marriot. I had a wash, blowout and style with Meadow. The scheduling process was easy and convenient. Great location. Meadow was very professional and knowledgeable. She did a great job and I would be happy to come back. Highly recommend.
I am extremely picky about my hair stylists and have tried many, upon many salons and stylists. A few years ago I did a google search and came upon Olivias Hair Boutique. Oh my gosh, where do I even start. How many characters will this hold?? I moved from Iowa to Boston a year ago and needed someone I could trust to do my extensions. I was referred to Brooke and it was the best thing that could’ve happened to me. I was completely new to the area and she made me feel right at home from the start. Really awkward vibes inside. I also left looking like Lord Farquaad... yeah I will not be going back. I think they are really used to one type of hair/hairstyle and cannot really cater to a diverse range. But they were able to give me a last minute appointment and once I washed and styled my own hair at home, the cut itself wasn't bad.
Olivia and her team did an outstanding job for our wedding hair and makeup! They were incredibly professional and sweet. All of makeup looks had such a natural, gorgeous glow and the updos looked elegant and stayed in place throughout the whole day, even with lots of dancing. At my makeup trial, Olivia was so collaborative and full of expertise, and we were able to come up with the perfect look together.
