Everytime I go there I’m more impressed. Dr. Castro is the most amazing doctor I have ever had. The staff at Christiana Care, Smyrna are professional, courteous and always go that extra step to make your experience a good one. Definitely 10 stars!
What an absolute joke! I am well aware that Smyrna is a small town with too many residents but to offer a current Christiana Care patient, with multiple health conditions, an office visit 10 months from today is absolutely ridiculous. Dr. Castro is the only one I really wanted to see but she is not accepting new patients. I simply don't understand how anyone can say any doctor or nurse practitioner is "accepting" new patients when September 28th 2026 is their earliest appointment! I always have a great experience. The staff is friendly, professional, and respectful, and the appointments usually run right on time. From initial scheduling to follow ups they’re always kind and helpful whenever I’ve interacted with them. Everyone here seems to genuinely care about their patients and does their best to keep things running smoothly. I had an appointment today with this doctor’s office. I was running a little late, so I called ahead to let them know, and they told me it was fine to come in. However, when I arrived, they said the doctor could no longer see me and that my next available appointment wouldn’t be until march — months away. The front desk staff, especially a woman named Mandy, was extremely rude and unprofessional. Best doctor in Delaware!! Dr. Castro puts her patients first everyday in person, zoom call or via email. My health has improved significantly with her dedication and expertise!
