Went for brunch with my girlfriend to the Royalmount location. Although the terrace was nice, my experience was Underwhelming to say the least. I ordered the French toast, which was literally a piece of bread with Labneh, some maple syrup and a couple strawberries drizzled on top for $25. My girlfriend ordered a slice of quiche with a side salad that had a few slices of red onion and very basic dressing for $27. The food was nothing Great and most definitely not worth the price. Great coffee and pastries!
I had brunch at Olive et Gourmando. The ambiance and the service were excellent, but I was a bit disappointed with the food. The menu was quite limited, and the portions were smaller than I expected. Also, the online menu didn’t match the one that was actually available at the restaurant, which was a little frustrating. I also ordered an extra-hot matcha, but it arrived only lukewarm. Overall, it’s a lovely place with great service, but I was expecting a better brunch experience.
