I’m torn to write this because I have spent 2.5 years at Olive Fertility clinic in Vancouver and after 2 IUIs and 2 IVFs I am very sad to say that the treatments did not work. We are in same sex relationship, we each did 1 IUI and 1 IVF. IUIs were useless, I wish they did not even suggest this , considering our age at that time 39 years old and 36 years old, we should have gone straight to IVF. Update: thought it couldn’t get worse but it did. My partner and I have a saying when it comes to Olive, and that is "All roads lead to IVF." We were referred here a year ago after multiple early miscarriages. In our initial consult with our fertility doctor I disclosed that I have endometriosis and I assume that's likely contributing to our fertility struggle. No real comments there; no offer for a referral to the Endometriosis Clinic at BC Womens hospital; also no referral to the Recurrent Loss Clinic. I put my trust in th... read more
