After going through a run around to get an appointment with them, they decided to cancel my son’s appointment because it “wasn’t a good fit” for him. We haven’t even started with the practice yet. Basically this is them saying “we don’t want to deal with your son’s issues, sorry.” They haven’t even given him a chance. For children with depression, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Obviously, therapy is extremely personal, so I won't share too much, but I just really wanted to say that Lauren helped me get through some real darkness. She is a great listener and I never felt "judged". She wanted to make sure she understood what I was trying to say and also tried to help me see things in a new way. I didn't feel rushed (no sudden "well, our time is up! get out!"), and she was as accommodating as possible for scheduling appointments. Highly recommend.
