the people at check in were very nice. upon inspecting our room, we a found a roach crawling at the headboard of the bed. the floor was dirty so we used the towels as walkways. peeling back the sheets, we found crumbs on the bed from who knows how long ago. i like the convenient location but theres other places to stay.
We had a great stay overall! This is a charming, budget-friendly spot with everything you need if you’re not planning to spend a ton of time in your room. The space has been updated, the location is super convenient for getting into downtown Columbus, and the breakfast is a pleasant surprise — especially the coffee, which was genuinely excellent. Fine for a night, but the walls are so thin, I could hear the kids next door loud as can be in the morning hours before check out. They were banging on things and screaming. I really wish they were mindful putting rooms with kids right next door to people without. During the night a huge semi pulled up near our room with lights shining in our room. Teens were walking past our room being extremely loud at night. I guess it is very kid-friendly.
We stay here every football home game and always enjoy our experience. The rooms and showers are always clean and we enjoy our experience. I only wish the room floors were cleaned after each visit as every visit the room floors are always very dirty. Otherwise, great stay!!!
Although the hotel was nice. They did not say their breakfast hours. So when I went to get my free breakfast I was 15 minutes late to get it and had to pay. It should be told to guest upon check in that it ends at 9, it wad not. Extremely disappointed.
