Great work for the Money, very nice and professional work, fast service here great prices... i went to AAMCO took 3 weeks to get company van back. first week they never even look at it. But Olea's is the place to GO... Believe me... My Close friends go to Olea's and never had a Problem yet... Super smart Tech. remember i retired Fleet Manager/Mechanic from Hostess/Wonder Bread, Diesel / Gas Mechanic Teamsters 683, do not go anywhere else, just give him a chance... Trust ME...
I took my 2004 Chevy Van to Olea's two weeks ago, and he did a fantastic job! I initially called the shop to ask for a quotation for just swapping a used transmission I intended to buy at one of the Otay junkyards. Upon telling the owner that I just wanted to swap with a used tranny, he asked me, "can I ask you how much are they selling you that for?" and I said: "yeah, 1000 bucks" which is what I shopped from at junkyards in Fontana and San Diego...So he tells me....Well, I can swap it, but for that kind of money, invest ... read more
I m here to confirm that they cut corners. Wich there is an other similar review in here Im only talking about there - rebuilt work -on transmission wich was my only experience with them. I burned my transmission I got attracted by the price. I needed a quick rebuild for a transmission that I needed to swap into a new toy Transmission was not working the way it should. Great job! Rebuilt my transmission on my 89 Trans Am, was a pleasure to drive once I got it back from them, shifts like a dream and at a great price. The team there took great care of me and my car and I highly recommend them.
Took a long time but their price beats all the inconvenience (about $1000 less than their rivals'). They are good and honest people too. Rebuilt transmission works great, hope it will last.
