As an avid camper, our family has been to many places. The Thurmont area is a very scenic and is great for fishing or just site seeing. The downtown area is historic and quaint. We planned to stay at the Ole Mink Farm Resort and opted to lease cabins due to the chance of inclement weather. The pricing and deposits were much higher than we had anticipated.
