As part of our family get together we all went on the covered wagon ride. The view, of course, is incredible! We saw a heron and a bald eagle. Even though it was pouring rain most of the time, we managed to stay relatively dry. Jim, our tour guide, was funny, although he was a little too merciless in picking on our one grandson.
This tour was by far the highlight of our weekend trip to the PA Grand Canyon. Before your tour, after booking your tickets, you receive an informative email with everything you need to know. Note the arrival time is before your scheduled tour time, if you arrive at your tour time, you're late. They have a cute little gift shop there, you just walk in and let them know you're there for the tour. You can take drinks and snacks on the tour as well. Our tour had about 30 people on it. Fun, laid back way to see the bottom of the canyon, plats and wildlife. Especially good option if you have rainy or changeable weather. Guides are knowledgeable and fun.
Had the most amazing tour today! Our tour guide, Jimmy (I believe), was very knowledgeable but also made it truly entertaining! We would 100% come back for this experience again!
