Stumbled upon Oldies while hanging out in industry city with my husband and couldn’t be more pleased! I never tried sake before, but the bartender Ashley suggested we try a flight. She walked us through each drink and was very knowledgeable regarding flavors and pairings. We weren’t planning on eating there, but after learning I was a vegetarian Ashley showed me a menu to look at for a future visit. Nice bar with Japanese liquor styled drinks made by very nice staff. Seats were comfy and the drinks were great! Vibe was friendly and laid back. Prices average for NYC. They also have a food menu we didn’t try which looked yummy. Would revisit.
Came here for drinks with a few friends my friends got the sake flight and the strawberry drink that I don't actually remember the name of . However I got the ginger whisky sour which is one of the best and most unique cocktails I had in the city. The ginger works amazingly with the sweetened agave.
The restaurant was ok and food was decent, very fairly priced. But the bar was AMAZING. Carlos has to be the best bartender ever. I got the white peach fresh fruit cocktail and it was so refreshing and delicious. It took him about 10 minutes to make it and it was worth the wait. Highly recommend for date night, cute small dimly lit cozy bar.
Came here multiple times to order the same dish lol everything was great~!
