I was passed down an antique ring which has been in my family for over 100+ years and was planning on using it as my wedding ring. I was referred to the Olde Gold Shoppe as they can appraise antique jewelry for insurance purposes and I was looking to get it resized. I contacted him in January 2023 and was able to bring the ring in the same week. I took a beloved pendant in to have the bail fixed. I find the business very Covid aware and appreciated the care taken to ensure everyone's safety. I was concerned because my pendant has a large Mabe pearl that needed to be removed as it was right under the bail. Mr. Rivest, the owner, assured me he could do the job with no damage to the pearl. When I picked up my pendant I was thrilled with the job done and he polished it up so it looked better than when I brought it in.
