We have worked with Silvia Jope of Old World Garden Designs for 15 years or so and could not be happier with her work—both as a landscape designer and in taking care of our gardens each fall and spring. Silvia is amazing! We built our house, and the outside was a blank canvas which felt overwhelming. She took time during our consultation to really understand the colors, and types of native and non-invasive plants we were hoping to use, and then put together the most beautiful landscape design. Silvia is wonderful to work with. She listens closely to what you are looking for, stays within your budget and has a great eye. Even as an avid DIY gardener, I've found it invaluable to hire Silvia to layout new garden beds and set the overall structure. Her fees are very reasonable and it's absolutely worth the money. I also really appreciate her focus on ecological considerations, like including native plants when possible.
