I drove down to the gun room in El Cerrito with just the intention of getting my gun license. i was made to feel very welcome from the minute i walked through the door. I had a million questions regarding a type of gun i wanted. The owner gave me the test on the spot and then we spent almost an hour finishing up the paperwork with his very able lady assistant. after that they gave me perfect service finding me the perfect gun for me at a price i could afford. Bob has a dry sense of humor and doesn’t suffer fools. Be polite, remember that you’re not the center of the universe, and you’ll probably be able to benefit from his years of experience. Be rude or squirrelly and you’ll catch it from him. No AR’s, but lots of great long guns and handguns, including many interesting pieces on consignment. Just as the name suggests, If you want bottomless inventory, gleaming facilities, and internet prices, an old west gun room is not the right shop for you.
