Had a great experience at Oldtown bakery. I worked with three different employees to place the order and pick it up and all were so friendly and helpful. I ordered a custom Minecraft cake, and it turned out great. My nephew is going to love it.
HYGIENE PROBLEMS – We had an appt with this establishment for a wedding consult. When we first walked in it seemed nostalgic to a degree but no one welcomed us. We pilfered looking untill someone acknowledged us. A red headed lady came out and apologized for the wait and sat down with us. WORST EVER – This is the WORST bakery I have ever been. The place itself is nasty..dirty floors, shelves..etc. The customer service is poor also. No one has any knowledge about cakes at all and will always suggest leaving a number so the owner can call them back but apparantly the owner only works a few days a week and limited hours at that so you better pray you call at the right time. Old Towne Bakery -- A GREAT Little Hometown Bakery – Well, I have been patronizing this establishment for some time now. I usually stop in about once a week and pick up a treat for the family and/or my co-workers. And I must say that I have never had a reason to complain about any of the items that I've purchased. Will not be back – I have taken my 2 year old daughter to Old Towne Bakery twice in the past couple of months following doctor's visits thinking it would be a nice little treat for her. The first time we visited, the workers were chatting amongst themselves and it took forever to get someone to wait on us. Old Towne Bakery Olive Branch – I do not recommend Old Town Bakery in Olive Branch. The customer service is very poor and you have to order cakes weeks in advance. They told me they could use my cake pan to make a cake for me and at the very last min. declined it and left me without a cake. I decided to try then again and ran into poor customer service. Upset – I have ordered cakes from Old Towne Bakery since they opened. I have always received excellent service and the cakes have always been wonderful. Today I tried to order a birthday cake for my child's party only to find that my order was refused because, "they are booked through next weekend." Today being Wednesday, I really do not understand how a bakery can be booked for the next week and a half!
