Yummy ice cream and lunches Slidel's Olde Towne Soda Shoppe is a wonderful palce for good lunches, with a complete menu that includes po boys and muffalatas, and for great desserts and snacks. the sodas, ice creams, shakes and malts are all fabulous. My personal favorite are the nectar sodas. They also have an old fashioned penny cany section and make home made ice cream on Sundays. PROS: food, ambience and location CONS:
Ice cream shop This location is a very nice palce to visit. Its an old town style shop. They have hundreds of ice cream scoops on display. The have many types of ice cream and offer a small sandwich menu. PROS: Nice store CONS: hard to find
YUmmy Malts Great malts! The man there is nt always real nice, but he has great ice cream. The malts are the best i have ever had! Parties are fun there too. Great place for kids PROS: Malts, kid friendly CONS: not so nice man there
Victim of Katrina This was a great place with good food and ice cream. Their muffalatas were great. It was a good place for a birthday party and rides on an old fire engine. A unique business for a unique town. My kids really enjoyed it. They are no longer in business thanks to Katrina.
