Matthew the owner walked us thru the different stages in glassworks. He is such a genius in recycling old bottles and turning them into works of art. He is also a master of improvisation, using washing machine and spin drier motor for polishing glass. His recycling of bicycle rims into igloo roof is so creative and innovative!! Hats off to him and more power!!

The owner was very kind, friendly and accommodating. He told his story about how he got into recycling used bottles and turning them into artful drinking glasses, vase etc. We also had a chance to make our own glasses from used bottles. Very interesting and educational experience.

Matthew’s passion for recycling is enviable and contagious. More people should see what he does, and learn from what he teaches and practices. The workshop was fun, and it was worth every minute and penny spent at his store. Go visit him to find out for yourselves, what I mean.

This was a great tour! Matthew was very informative and inspirational with how he was able to “rethink” uses for materials that would otherwise be scrapped. Not only did we learn how to use the sandblaster, we also came home with a personalized souvenir.
