We had a wonderful tour of the factory yesterday. Really fascinating to see how these canoes and kayaks were made. The level of skill is amazing - true craftsmanship. Also purchased some terrific gifts from the retail shop. Really good value and the people there are all very nice. If you're anywhere close, it's well worth making the trip over. My big decision now isn't which canoe(s), but which colors to choose. So many great colors! Solid 5 star rating!
If you are in the market for an Old Towne canoe or kayak it is likely to be worth your time and effort to visit here. Knowledgeable staff, excellent boats with full warranty of Old Town. Be aware that the outlet carries "seconds" that have cosmetic flaws. If that's ok, you can save some $$ off of retail here. We tried the boats before buying in the indoor pool. This place was so much more than we expected when we stumbled upon it. There was a wide variety of kayaks, canoes, sups, and other related equipment available at steeply discounted prices. We ended up picking up some new seats and a strut for our canoe, but were tempted to buy so many other things. Next time we visit it will be our destination instead of a stop in the way.

I bought an old town vapor, the salesman was very helpful, with loading the kayak on top of my vehicle, he provided rope padding and went to ting the kayak to my roof rack. He made sure I would have no trouble getting home.

Fabulous folks; we showed up just before closing and they stayed late to be sure we were getting the right equipment for our needs. We left with a Discovery 119 canoe to complement a Vapor 10 xt kayak we bought here years ago. They were more concerned with us getting the right equipment than making a sale. Highly recommended.
