The atmosphere is that of an old school diner/breakfast place. Pretty busy all the times I've been here. Friendly staff and clearly marked vegan options. Breakfast options are tasty, flavorful, and condiments are available on request. I wish the portion size was a big bigger, as it doesn't always fill me up and I eat a normal portion size. But a solid option nonetheless for vegans.

I visit Bellingham about once a year. I love coming here for the nature, the slower pace, and the kind of local atmosphere that feels very different from where I live. Usually, when I am in town, I go to Banter. But on this particular day, there was a special event happening, so I decided to try Old Town Cafe instead after hearing that it was a good brunch spot. We love Old Town! We bring our family here when they come to visit every year because all our food restrictions are accommodated - vegan and gluten free as well as egg free - a tall order for breakfast places typically! The GF pancakes are so good I ask every time I order them if they’re really gluten free! 🤣
