Nice little pub Tuesday Night Trivia with Joel and Steve-O. Decent pub food and they know how to pour a proper Guinness. Its a fun place to hang out when I'm in Clinton.
Old Timer Restaurant is great. This place is great. The food is good, and I love going to Trivia on Tuesday night. The staff is friendly. This is shining star in the little town of Clinton.
Old Timer Restaurant in Clinton A memorable experience! On Sunday & Wednesday nights there is an all-you-can-eat roast beef buffet. The owner carves huge generous slices from a steamship round of beef and sings all the old favorite songs accompanied by a pianist. Some nights there is an Irish band. It's lots of fun, a warm homey atmosphere, very reasonably priced (under $20.00!), and the best part...they serve delicious warm corn fritters with maple syrup!
The Old Timers I remember going as a child to the Old Timer Restaurant with my parents to see Santa. It is a cherished childhood memory. I now go to have lunch with friends. The inside is a bit dark, but that somehow adds to the charming atmosphere. The food is the usual pub food and the prices are reasonable. I have never had a bad meal.
