The Old Taos Guesthouse has been our favorite Taos destination for over 35 years. Although the original owners retired and sold the OTG several years ago, the "new" owners have continued the tradition of always exceeding expectations in hospitality. The rooms are all very lovely, comfortable and sparkling clean. The rural-feeling grounds at OTG are private, lush and tree and flower filled. For the owners, only: remove their staff Julia and Ngoc. Expedia personnel confirmed that the room I booked is advertised in multiple places as having a microwave and refrigerator in the room, including in the Detailed Room description. Neither existed, not even an instant coffee maker. However, the shocking thing was that the two hotel staff members became instantly hostile and dishonest when I asked for a microwave.
