Long story short, had an accident on the way to Lake Harris in Lake County, Florida. Trailer appeared to be totaled and minor damage to the boat. Accident was not my fault; lady ran a stop sign in Polk City and ended our day on the water. The problem with accidents is the inconvenience....the good news....no one was injured. Since I live a few minutes from Old Salt Marine in Lakeland, I gave them a call. Whatever you do, do NOT use this company. They sold me a trailer that did not fit my boat. They 100% knew what type boat I had. They had the specs on the boat. The trailer with my 8k pound boat came off the hitch because the trailer did not fit the boat. I could have died. The trailer slammed into the back of my boat and caused over 3k in damage. Stay VERY far away from here.Don is your best friend until you complete your sale after that it's a disaster!!!!! Terrible terrible and dishonest service. He will cut every corner in order to make money but smile at you and invite you to go boating with him while he is screwing you!!! Horrible place .They never call you to give you updates and when you call all they want to do is yell and argue . They will nice you to death untill you buy . Please steer clear of old salt marine .
