Best spot to get sushi The powerhouse restaurant is a great place to get Sushi. I dont eat sushi that much, but the other guys in my group cant say enough about how good both the price, quality, and amount of food you get for the money.
Awesome! I cannot say enough good about the Powerhouse!!! Thomas-san (the chef) is great. The only thing about the restaurant is... do not go if you are starving. The food is amazing, but Thomas-san being by himself, sometimes he gets backed up and it takes a little while. The food is well worth the wait. His fish is soooo fresh. I'd HIGHLY recommend the Spicy tuna roll or the Dynamite Tuna Roll. Both are amazing!!! You will not be dissapointed!
a great sushi restaurant The powerhouse has the best sushi in kodiak. the fish is super fresh. the view is excellent, the staff is great and is it is not too expensive. they also serve other food for those people who do not like sushi

awesome food and service!
The food is great and the view is breathtaking. But expect to wait anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to be served. The waitress' are hit or miss, some are fantastic and other's are horrible. Also, beware of Friday and Saturday nights it gets really loud and there are quite a few large parties that have one too many to drink. We had to get our order to go because the Coastie's at the table next to us were cussing up a storm and banging on the tables- and that was the last thing my children needed to see.
My Family and I attended the Old Power House Restaurant in Kodiak this past Summer, As suggested by a friend. Water front view, Service was prompt & kind, portions were very generous.If you love Japanise cousine & seafood, I would definately recommend!!!
