Very quiet and nice hikes all around the area! Quick walk down to the water and a good view of the peninsula (and an industrial plant). On the way back up there were a bunch of really chill deer grazing and they let you get relatively close. Parking was free too the day I went. Only downside is the smell from the deer, but that's not a big problem. Highly recommend stop if you're in the area for a quick (30 min) hike
This is one of the best parks to visit to enjoy the serenity of an old growth forest, lovely beach view with well maintained amenities.
It is really a small park more suitable for tent camping, or maybe a van. No hookups, but water is nearby each site, bathrooms and a dumpstation on the way out. Lots of hiking trails, but no historical buildings still exist. There are bike trails throughout the park. Ft Worden is bigger, has historical buildings you can tour, and full hookups for your RV. Only a few miles away.
