I had 200 dollars in my checking and deposited 1000 on a Saturday. That weekend I made several bill payments and purchases that exceeded 200. Unbeknownst to me, Old National did not clear my Saturday deposit of 1000 till Tuesday, and charged me several overdraft fees. The Saturday deposit of 1000 they said was unsettled funds. So all purchases made over my 200 was overdraft charged, 5 or 6 for a total of a couple hundred dollars. I cant stand this bank and am ready to leave it. The branch manager Katie has absolutely no clue on what she is doing. They lie and make false promises in order to get you to join. They charge \$6.95 a month for a checking account. Their are cheaper banks out there with FREE checking accounts. Their "Debit Card Rewards" program is a scam. I have submitted receipts and have STILL yet to get my rebate check! You call there and nobody is able to answer your questions. You do not want to obtain a mortgage through this bank. They have been known to sell their mortgages to collection agencies and other unreputable institutions. Nothing says we appreciate your business more than "By the way --we just sold your mortgage to some unheard of collection agency in California!" If I wanted a mortgage from some place I never heard of that was located 3,000 miles away --I would of done so in the first place. Thanks, but no thanks for your business!
