My first impression of this branch was great when I came to open an account.They were short staffed but Lisa was so pleasant and helpful with multitasking by setting up my account all while helping other customers!
I had the most unpleasant encounter with the Branch Manager Kerri Mallien at the Old National Bank, Madison-Northport Location. I was there to cash a check. Initially, she asked if I was a regular visitor, confusing me with another Black lady. I informed her that it was my first time there, to which she suggested that I must have a twin. I clarified that I don't have a twin and that I'm an only child. My brother and I lost our mother and father this past year and were left complicated estates. Silvia and her colleagues at the Sherman branch were so helpful in navigating the paper trails left behind. Silvia was professional, courteous and sympathetic while helping my brother and I through this painful time. Customer service is not dead...at least at this Old National branch office.
