I recently visited a friend here while she is recovering from a major ankle surgery. This particular facility’s website describes it as a “high end luxurious, resort type” facility. It is a short term rehab. Upon entering, the layout is pleasing to the eye and directions to the rooms are well marked and easy to find. The patient rooms are large with an exceptional nice bathroom. My dad has been to Old Mill twice for rehab. He received wonderful care from the folks who work there. They were always pleasant and on time with his needs. If my dad needed something, he pressed his request button and they were right there. He also had a medical complication while there and Trevor, part of the nursing staff, quickly addressed it and we got him the help he needed. As a side note, the food is good! My mother was placed at Old Mill Rehab and had a wonderful experience, so I knew where I wanted to go when it was my turn to do rehab. And they did not let me down. The staff is wonderful, the facility is beautiful and the food is good. My PT Hailey and OT Missy got me ready to go home and the Nursing staff and CNAs were excellent. Kind compassionate staff. A VERY CLEAN facility and active community. They offer PT OT AND ST every day as needed. Any questions you may have they will respond to you within 5 hours. That’s a great time frame compared to other facilities. Many extras too!! Cafeteria a gym a library a social area for family and friends to visit outside of the patient’s room. My husband was admitted yesterday. His complaints so far are uncomfortable recliner and bed. He's vegetarian, menu is not vegetarian friendly. One vegetarian entree, grilled cheese sandwich. Tough and cold. Very limited menu and food is subpar. Food is not served hot.
