My younger sister has severe dental anxiety, so I expected orthodontic appointments to be difficult. Surprisingly, the team here handled her fears really well from the beginning. They explained tools before using them and checked constantly to make sure she felt okay. One appointment took longer because she needed extra breaks, but nobody acted impatient about it. After several months of treatment, she actually walks into the office calmly now instead of panicking beforehand.
They have been amazing to both of our kids. They are always super accommodating and work with our crazy schedule. Each appointment has been quick and efficient. You can't go wrong with Old Metairie Orthodontics :)
Dr. Block is so amazing! I chose to see her for my son’s braces after hearing that she was the best and witnessing her beautiful work on others. She is so kind, compassionate and honest. She assessed my son and told us to return in 6 months before moving forward. She anticipated him to grow more which could result in changing his treatment plan.
