Multiple shops around the area declined to take a look at my vehicle after my wife and I were stranded on the side of the road on our way down to Texas. Old hickory car care was the only shop in Jackson, TN to take my truck in same day and diagnose it. Unfortunately, they weren’t able fix the issue but went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I were able to go about our way back home safely. Michael and Tim were very professional and I would trust these guys to work on my vehicle.
Excellent!!! In my opinion, they went well above and beyond. I was in from out of town and needed a repair before I could drive back safely with my family. Several other shops wanted multiple days and didn't really want to talk me through the issue. Old Hickory had me done in 3 hours and at a very reasonable cost. I can not thank them enough!!! Took my car to get assessed as it appeared there was something amiss as it wasn’t running quite right. After paying $150 for the diagnostic assessment, I was lied to and told I needed a radiator, a whole tune up (one had just been done) a fuel pump (replaced not too long ago) and a myriad of other things totaling $2000-$3000 in order to be “road safe”.
