This is just a great place. Steve has just the best people working there. The samples are priced just great. I have purchased literally a ton of stuff there. When I hike, I am well equipped, warm in winter and cool in summer. The used stuff is always an adventure. Timing is everything! I have thoroughly enjoyed my Asolo GTX hikers the last two winters! Got a toasty Sherpa hat for my GF two weeks ago. She loves it! Wish they had room for a woodstove....I would retire there.
I love this place it kind of reminds me of jabawok but for the bike and outdoors lol you never know what hidden jem you might find!�
my go-to store for all manner of outdoor gear (bikes, packs, snowshoes, gaiters, raincoats, etc). Always great service, lives up to the phrase printed on every receipt, “the goat loves you”.
I came in at 4PM on July 3 = holiday weekend with a flat tire on my bike. Sam got it fixed for me on the spot although he was working alone.. It cost $10 total; $5 for tube and $5 for changing it. Very grateful. It was the kind of retail experience that will have me come back and recommend Old Gear to others. Thanks.
Great friendly knowledgeable staff will go above and beyond to make sure you leave satisfied, got me a kona bike there, couldn't be happier with the experience, as always, it pays to shop local!
I love all of these guys. They're all really nice and helpful. Best place in town for hiking and camping gear.
Of course one of my favorite places to shop and has the best deals around especially on Marmot!
