Old Florida Fish House & Bar The food is ok, it is always covered in one particular sauce that they use. If you don't like shellfish, you will only have one or two options at most. The staff are friendly, mostly college students. Not a place to go if you are wanting a quiet evening, it is VERY family friendly. The price is in line with vacation destinations, a little higher than your average dinner.
Love this place I am a local and have always had great food and great service at the Fish House. The band is amazing, and you can't beat the upbeat atmosphere. If you go with the expectation of having a quiet evening out, you may be disappointed. If you want to have good food, good drinks, and a good time, this is the place to go!
Worst Dining Experience My family and I decided to eat at the Fish House on July 23rd, 2009 on one of our last evenings on vacation. We took my mother in law, some family, friends and my toddler daughter. We arrived at 7:30 PM and by 8:20 PM had not received any food. The restaurant was packed and service was extremely slow. When I left to ask to speak with a manager, no one could find her for a long while. For shellfish lovers only! We've been to this restaurant twice (the second trip was for sentimental reasons, as we visited on our honeymoon). I can't believe I forgot that the menu is almost completely shellfish - which I'm allergic to! There are a few other options, which are pretty good, but not outstanding. VERY family friendly - it's pretty boisterous in the summer with kids at most tables. Pretty setting, but not oceanfront.
