It has been a while since we had this vet out and I called today for an emergency as my alpaca is not doing well and she is dying. She refused to come out saying I had bad debt and to find another vet. I told them their records were incorrect and her office person billed me twice for the same service last time they were out and the office corrected it. Dr. Harris and her staff are just the best!!
They used to be decent. The vet that was into sheep left leaving one vet. She is a young vet and is over extended. We lost a lamb after a castration surgery from what I am guessing is over anesthesia. It didn't come out of it and fell over and died in front of me. They use FAMACHA score and body condition for sole source of parasite detection. That just says if they are ill, it doesn't say that they are well. We lost half our flock from that methodology. I had a very sick goat. Dr.harris came and worked very hard to save him unfortunately he was to far gone to save. She was very professional and caring. I am so glad i could get her to come out and try. I will be calling on her again.hopefully just for checkups but i am so glad to know she is there in an emergency if needed.
