Can't emphasize how integral this location is, and these people are, for military students. Especially considering the thousands of military affiliated students at this school.
The Military Connect Center at ODU is an incredible resource for military-affiliated students. They’ve helped me navigate veterans benefits, find dedicated spaces to study and connect with other students, and are one of the only offices on campus that actually answers their phones and is always ready to help. Everyone there is welcoming and knowledgeable — people like Chase, Jam, Elise, Ella, Casey, Corrine, and Lauren go above and beyond to make sure students get the support they need. The MCC is an amazing resource! The staff there are dedicated and helpful. They made everything easy and simple.

ODU’s Military Connect Center has been a huge help for military-affiliated students like me. They make it easy to understand and use veterans benefits, provide great spaces where we can study and connect, and they’re one of the few offices that consistently answers the phone when you need something.
