Went for the first time on Saturday after hearing about them from a friend. Good selection of beautiful hay with the analysis!!! The front desk worker, Lauren, was AMAZING and very personable! She helped me read and understand the analysis and educated me on the various types of hay and on their producers. Very professional and so kind! I recently found out about Old Dominion Hay and decided to pay them a visit. I am SO GLAD I did. They had chicken feed I wanted to try so I bought a bag. They loaded the bag into my car and I went on down the road when I realized they had given me the wrong item. I called just to make sure they had what I wanted in stock, they did, so I turned around to head back. OD Hay has relieved me of one of my most onerous tasks, that of choosing a reliably-lab tested hay and consistently unloading it in a safe and properly stacked manner. His crew is always on time and pleasant to work with. I especially appreciate being able to allow our horses to sample various types prior to final purchase. Very convenient, great selection and extremely nice people. And the bunnies seem to like the Timothy grass. Just switched over to Tucker Milling rabbit feed. They are eating it up, and the young are growing fast on mama’s milk.
We had always gone to their location to pick up our hay, but we recently had them deliver it. We were very satisfied, they were on time and unloaded and stacked it quickly and efficiently for us. We have always been happy with the quality of hay, as well, and that it is analyzed so we know what we are getting. We will definitely do it again. Thank you
