We had an amazing wedding. Mike is very nice and accommodating. The kids stayed busy and out of our hair. They played on the swing and with outdoor games. We loved exploring. We saw TONS of wildlife. Bring mosquito spray! They will carry you away. We wanted all the cabins and the event venue. It was so nice to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner all together with out closest friends and family. We had some very severe storms move in one night around midnight and Mike gave us updates and where to go in case of a tornado warning... read more

Just had a great 4 day weekend at Old Camp Joy! We stayed in the Huguenot cabin and enjoyed beautiful vistas, kayaking on the lake, playing board games, and reading. Our boys had a blast with the air hockey table. The owner was very friendly and made sure we had everything that we needed! Consider this area as a well kept secret alternative to Broken Bow! Highly recommend!

We stayed here for a family wedding. Our cabin was cute and clean. It's very quiet, right on the lake. I enjoyed watching birds right from the porch. Kitchen has a full refrigerator and an oven/stove combo with some pots and pans, so you can plan ahead and eat your meals in the cabin if you like. I would definitely stay here again!

We rented out the property for my husband’s 50th. We had 50 guest, many from out of town, so we decided to rent the cottages in addition to the venue. Everything was great! The views were fantastic from anywhere on the property! The cottages were clean and cozy, the owners were friendly and helpful, and the venue had everything you could need! The kids enjoyed the water, and it was a perfect place for everyone to get away! Highly recommend for an event or just a weekend away. We will definitely be back!
