Our group of "Chums", picked the Old Burdick Pub for one of our regular meet and eat and swap stories get together's. It was a lovely Spring day in Kalamazoo, the company was good, the wait staff attentive and the food excellent. We started with "shareables", the corn and bean quesadilla and baked spinach dip. I really enjoyed lunch there yesterday with some great friends!! I had a shot turned to a little bigger of a Dirty Girl Scout which tasted just like a thin mint cookie!! The Cherry Salmon Salad was fabulous! Can't wait to come back sometime!!
Good food, great atmosphere. Nice place to eat while staying at the Raddison. Staff and waitresses could have been nicer.
Being from out of the area, we didn't know what to expect. We met a large group of 12, our son's friends. Not only was JC a prompt, friendly server during a hectic, busy Saturday evening, but our food was above expectation. I enjoyed a high, well-filled quesadilla with smoked chicken, avocado and black beans and my husband had a filling burger cooked just right! The entire table were positive with comments on the food & drinks!
Still one of my favorite places. This is where my girlfriend (at the time) was "accepted" in to the family. This restaurant will always have a special place for us, as it really kickstarted the relationship we have with my family today. Could it have happened at another restaurant??? Sure, but it didn't. The food, service and location are quite nice and we will go back there as long as we are able.
