Part of history lore. It's really cool seeing a bike inside the tree.
Saw this attraction on Google so decided to stop on the way to look for the Troll. It was a neat tree with two bicycle parts stuck in it. I didn’t like the sign that said “the blueberries are not yours for picking”. It made the whole place uninviting.
Worth a stop if you’re in the area. Park across the street. I believe it’s private property, you follow a small wooded trail hidden in the trees to the bike that’s mostly eaten.
Exactly as advertised. It is the remains of an old bicycle stuck in a tree.
The idea of the Old Bicycle in the Tree is cooler than the reality, but I don’t regret the visit! It would be great to have some signage; we probably would have walked right past it if my niece hadn’t pointed it out to us. There are cooler things to do and see on Vashon, but this could be a fun scavenger hunt stop. :)
