Great Fresh Seafood! – This place was within walking distance of our hotel, and after seeing their menu online I wanted to go. Got the Lobster steamer for 2, and there was lots of food! It was all fresh and delicious! I didn't think I liked lobster til I tried theirs! King Crab and Snow Crab clusters very tasty, corn and new potatoes, too. Only complaint was that by the time we got to the shrimp, it was almost cool. Waitstaff were pleasant and quick with service, drinks were good, and the decor was unique. Went about 7pm on ... read more

Reheated Seafood @ Fresh Seafood Price – Restaurant came highly recommended. Visited about 15 minutes after they opened on a Friday. Ordered the Shrimp, King and Snow Crab Steamer for 2. We immediately noticed the crableg meat crumbled (overcooked?) and shrimp was tough. After a few minutes, we picked up crablegs that were cold (refrigerator cold). Asked if this was previously cooked and reheated...never got answer...other than "we'll fix it." They brought back the same plate (had the "empty" crablegs we had dropped on the p... read more

Best Steamed Seafood I've ever eaten – I love the food at Old Bay Steamer. I didn't think I liked shrimp until I ate Their Royal Red's I was so impressed that I returned 3 times during our 10 day stay in the area. It is family friendly, casual, finger food dining. We have returned to this place at least once every time we are in the area. We have tried a variety of their menu' offeringings and have never been disappointed. A few time we have had to wait to be seated but never more than 20 minutes and the wait can be avoided ... read more

Seafood Below The Bucket! – Ft.Walton Beach is an absolute gem. Super white beaches and very clear water. Of course this being our first time, and wanting a nice quality seafood dinner, several locals suggested Old Bay Steamer. Nice looking exterior, but that is where the nice ends. We requested a seat on the second level, and there must have been about fifteen kids under the age of seven, running and screaming, while their parents were drinking pitchers(?) of draft beer. When we saw rolls of paper towels on all the tables, ... read more

Seafood by the bucket – Went with some visiting family members, and they were thrilled beyond expectation. I've done the seafood in a bucket thing before, but this was by far the most food we've gotten, and the price, while high, winds up being worth it. The service is bad, but we bore the grumpiness gladly.

My Mother freaked out... – About the shrimp. They are served heads & legs on and it's your job to cut 'em off. I LOVED it and though it was fun, but if you have problems with eyes and antennae you might want to choose one of their other dinners. You can choose large platters of different types of seafood freshly steamed up. It comes with corn on the cob and other 'fixins' you share from the tray and throw the 'junk' into cute buckets they bring for you to use. This may sound a little rustic -but it's not and Old Bay is usual... read more
