The Old AuSable Fly Shop has been a great group of folks to work with. I am the director of the Lovells Museum of Trout Fishing History and Jeff and Andy and their staff have been great to work with in publicizing the museum with others in the trout fishing community and loaning an exhibit to us this year (2016). And when I finally decided to learn how to fly fish myself, I took a workshop from Andy that really taught me what I need to know.
All fly shops sell rods, reels and flies but not all make you feel welcome the moment you first step inside. OAFS is the most friendly, welcoming and helpful shop that I have experienced.
