The state of the bridge is awful. We were out there about 15 months ago and it was not this bad. The sign which reads it's in the National Register of Historical Places means nothing. The trash, graffiti, and disrepair is not what I'd expect of a historical place.
This is such a beautiful piece of North Texas History ! Built in 1884, in the middle of mother nature. Walking trails galore and tightly tucked away.
