The Olcott Park Greenhouse in Virginia is an under-appreciated gem on the Iron Range. The Friends of the Greenhouse do an outstanding job maintaining the myriad plants.
It always surprises me how great the plants are here, truly a little gem.🌵🌺Great place to just relax on one of the benches within the greenhouse.
I love this park! So much history, it has a beautiful fountain, places to sit, and enjoy the parks' beauty. The play equipment is great for kids to enjoy while you have a family outing. A nice trail for walking and a driving road through the park. If you like festivals, mid-June is the Land of the Loon festival with arts and crafts, as well as food! Summer, you can enjoy the music and movies offered, I believe they still offer this outing. It really is a great place for so many reasons!
