My father was here for almost a week and it was absolutely astounding the care he received. They didn’t give him all of his meds, the nurses were extremely rude and didn’t seem to care about anybody they cared for. My father asked to use the restroom and a nurse didn’t come in until an hour and a half later so he had already soiled himself and then got to sit in it. My family and I dealt with a very sad situation at the hospital, and the staff in the birth center were absolutely amazing. They were so caring and kind, and they made sure to provide us with everything we needed. They made the situation we were dealing with so much better, and I’ll never forget it

It has been 14 months since I visited Olathe Medical Center. The ER staff were fantastic. I have no complaints about the care I received. The hospital and the insurance settled on the bill in June of 2024. I received my bill and paid it. In February 2025, I received another bill from them. I was very confused since 9 months had passed since I visited and had already paid off the initial bill. Ever since the merger with U of Kansas,care has been less and more expensive. I used to be able to call and a nurse would call me back to see the doctor in a reasonable amount of time. Now,in the last year I've called to see my doctor ( who ive been seeing since he became a doctor years ago) three times with no success. Guess there is no loyalty to patients anymore. Probably all just about dollars,that sad!

The ER is clean and the people are nice. We were processed and taken to a room within 20 minutes. We saw a nurse who took vitals and then a Dr within the first hour. The Dr. recommended a CT scan, which happened within another 30 minutes or so. So far so good. 1.5 hours at the hospital so far. At 3 hours, nobody had followed up with us about the CT scan. We found the nurse and were told the Dr. was busy with a critical patient. I get it. We weren't critical... but still, someone could have told us what was going on and what ... read more
