So far I have had 6 visits with Brik Thompson, my Doctor of Physical Therapy and I am seeing some positive results in the reduction of pain that I have had for over 2 years. I would have never guessed that exercises and stretches would do the trick. Hopefully this will mean NO surgery in the future. I would highly recommend that when you start this daily stretching, to continue it the rest of your life like I am going to do. This is my second visit for evaluation by Erin Cain, PT, DPT, CMPT. This College Point Rehab has “Top Notch” staff including Teri at the front desk with her warmth, compassion and welcoming smile (even exuded via her telephone interactions while scheduling). She is honestly even more outstanding in person. Erin helped me with healing momentum regarding an acute knee injury (on an already extremely deteriorated arthritic knee). I love this place and highly recommend it! Terri at the front desk is so friendly and welcoming! Scott and Erin are exceptional physical therapists! I went in a few months ago in severe pain, especially in my neck, arm, and shoulder. Scott used various treatments and gave me several exercises. After the initial counter strain treatment the pain in my neck is gone and hasn't returned!! Scott continued to use counter strain methods, and relieved the pain all throughout my body.
