Legitimately felt like a home cooked meal. Ordered a chicken bowle with peanut butter sauce. Chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned that complimented the sauce very well. It was delicious and filling.
I have seen this place on TikTok and decided to give it a try. I had the chicken with peanut butter sauce and fufu, it was ABSOLUTELY amazing, the owner was really nice , the only thing was that it was warm inside the restaurant but not a big deal for me , already planning on going back !!
Nina who served me and I believe her to be the owner as I see her article and picture on the wall was unfriendly and with a kind of look. Food was tasty but thats not African at all. Part of the kebab was tough. She needs to work on her CS skills.
Definitely not going back food was not great, I have had eguis before and it was amazing but what I got on June 5th was a very big disappointment. Very little portions for the amount of money wasn't even worth it. I'd rather take the money I spent and drive back to Kansas City and spend $25, I was able to feed me and my kids and share some with a friend and her 2 daughters. Waste of money is what I call this place.
