Oklahoma is finally catching up with the times! Getting certified copies of my son’s birth certificate was a breeze with the online request, and I was able to pick it up within a few short hours. I had no wait whatsoever, the staff were all pleasant (which is unheard of at places like this) Thanks for making my life so much easier!

Terrible. Drove an hour to find out they don't accept walk ins. Must set an appointment. Must be hard to put that on your website or notify the public on the internet that you don't take walk ins.

Horrible experience took a year to get an updated birth certificate for my son. Paid several times had to call multiple times. Then was told I should have call to have birth certificate sent in the mail that I already paid for. Why do I have to call when it done. When it’s done they should automatically send it. Was the most ridiculous thing ever. They need a new system new training as well as new employees because they were rude and not helpful. My experience with the Oklahoma City Vital Records office was an absolute nightmare. I ordered my birth certificate over a month ago. The first representative entered my email incorrectly. Two weeks later, I called to correct it and was told my certificate had been mailed. After waiting, I called multiple times, spending literal hours on hold—no exaggeration—only to find out it had been returned due to a postal issue.
