My 14 y/o son was diagnosed with a detached retina. We were referred to a retina specialist by his optometrist who scheduled him for surgery immediately. I had siregery for retina detachment and did a procedure that was not recommended for this kind of issues. Long story short, I came in seen well, with a procedure that have 90 % of success he blind me for life. He did a second surgery knowing that the initial procedure already detached my whole retina and the little shade I was seen it was gone . Another doctor saved my eye from taken it completely out. Nanda has the bedside manner of dried toast. It's useless to ask questions. He scheduled my wife's surgery at 330 p.m. but surgery didn't start nearly 5 p.m. of course no eating after the previous midnight. It was almost 7 p.m. before she coul eat. The first follow up was at 5 a.m. the next morning. Yes she had to be in the office at 5 a.m. the following day. So no real sleep or rest. The next appt we waited over an hour. He and his office help are arrogant and useless. Go out of state if needed for eye surgery.

I did see Dr Nanda for a vitreous separation. He did work me in. He did not communicate well, at all. He subjected me to a very painful examination with out explaining what he wanted to do or why it was necessary. I’ve had previous exams for the same condition and not had the same exam done I don’t think he obtained informed consent. Don’t go to this doctor.
