I can NEVER get in touch with a real person, always having to leave voice mail. I have yet had a return call unless I go through the patient Advocate. Return calls people, quit causing undue stress on us vets
I've spoken to the patient advocacy twice now regarding two departments, community care and pain pact. Pain pact has cancelled my appointment twice the day of the appointment and I've been waiting for months. I have called every week leaving a voicemail almost daily with no return phone call. Community care I spoke with a Mike whom insured me, finally, that the paperwork for an MRI would be sent out, still no appointment. everytime I need an appointment they have an excuse for why it is months away....I was once turned away from the ER when I couldn't walk and told to go to my PCM the closest appointment they had was over a month away...once again today they told me I was a new patient regardless of having been in the va system for 14 years and would have to come in...the closest appointment they had was 2 months away....completely useless "healthcare" . They blamed covid 19 this time my question is what about the other 13 years?
Your chief of security is a tyrant. For some reason he believes the VA hospital is a private establishment. In the attached video, he trespassed a videographer illegally. Without breaking a law, the videographer shouldn’t have been trespassed. The VA has enough troubles without lawsuits showing up for violations of civil liberties. https://youtu.be/Wu0-zzEbrsA

Services at the OKC VA has improved drastically! I've been going there since 2008, and I've noticed the improvements in the emergency room care and efficiency. My PCM (Dr. Mathew) and his team in Ward D are awesome! You guys ought to be commended. Fellow vets tell me their problems at other VA's, and I share how you guys do it, and they're amazed. Salute!
I fell and got to the VA ER then went into a comma. I've been told I was in the comma 3 weeks on a ventilator. I can't thank the nurses, doctors, NAs, CNAs, physical therapists, & occupational therapists. I appreciate all you did for me.
I appreciate the wonderful care given to my brother, Richard Blackwell by staff of the OKC VA Health Systems. Everyone from the Doctors, nurses, and supportive staff are compassionate and go the extra mile to make him comfortable. Thank you!
